Juan Montes nació en el pueblo onubense de la Puebla de Guzmán pero vive en Valencia desde 1972. El oficio lo aprendió dentro del gremio levantino, junto al artesano Martínez. La exigencia que él mismo se ha marcado le ha llevado a realizar unos modelos de guitarras flamencas y clásicas óptimas en construcción, materiales y equilibrio.
Todas las guitarras de los modelos indicados dentro del folleto están revisadas y probadas por el guitarrista David Leiva, cada guitarra pasa por sus manos aportando el nivel de exigencia que un guitarrista profesional y pedagogo busca en un instrumento. Incluye esta garantía una etiqueta firmada por el guitarrista en el interior de cada guitarra.

Juan Montes was born in Puebla de Guzmán, a village in the province of Huelva but has lived in Valencia since 1972. He learned his trade with the association from Levante together with the craftsman Martínez. The standards that he has set for himself have led him to making different models of flamenco and classical guitars which are optimal in their construction, materials and balance.
All of the guitar models indicated in the booklet are revised and tested by the guitarist David Leiva, each guitar passing through his hands which demand the quality that a professional guitarist and teacher looks for in an instrument. This guarantee of quality is signed by the guitarist on a label inside each guitar.
As a result, Juan Montes guitars are without doubt an instrument of high quality at a good price.
